I dunno if this is off-topic or rapid threads, but I'll just put it here.

What's been happening recently (3 years) is most games haven't been working, due to a virus that nobody can get rid of. It makes things think that I have no internet when I do. Most of skype and toribash have been working, but now because of skype's most recent update which happened today when I was in one of my classes it wont let me log in at all, and I have 200 contacts wanting to fuck me...
They'll probably think I'm dead or something ._.

Any help to get skype working?

Skype has gotten worse and worse with every update. I had been running on a three year old version for the longest time but I checked a recent update to see if they fixed it and it's still garbage. I'd recommend backgrading to an older version if I were you.

how would you get an older version? =/

it'd have to be off a website due to it not letting me do _anything_

to be honest, i haven't sensed anything bad about skype. the only bad thing about skype is that they let 500+ people get added. I have like 5 contacts on my skype, that make those kinds of groups. Also, the bots have gotten out of hand as well. I'd like to agree with kitfox, that every update is complete garbage, and it is. I haven't noticed them actually, you know change anything. Maybe some ''bug fixes'' which just let more problems into the system.


also, i don't get anything that you're saying about a virus? anyone care to shed some light on this? If it really is a bad thing, i might just delete skype, with about 370 contacts....


Also, I for one think that this should be in off-topic, due to some opinions that can be led out, but not for long. There's not much to expand about skype being ''bad'' as most people know it is.
