A clan mate has the same problem. I think it is related to the recent change of the clan sytem on forums. Wait a bit until the change is completed, i think it is gonna be fixed eventually.

You can't change your ingame name at all or you just can't get rid of that clan tag?

Well...now that I think of it...doesn't really matter if you're only not able to remove the clan tag.
It's a bug / glitch / whatever in any case I suppose.
