Then later on guys like DarkJak and Rexton were making great sets..

Then Vermine and Gabriel kind of stole the spot light.
I know I'm missing great people like Bendover and Joonveen in the spot light, but my memory slips.
My question is: who are the current, active, elite texture makers?
(P.S. I'm thinking of some cool concepts for sets, which is what spurred up the question to begin with)

You also forgot Aveance, Pate5, ovah9000 and KungFuJC. I think they are good enough to be placed in the list.
For the new elite I'd have a tough choice of choosing between nblx and Membrain. Nblx made some awesome highly detailed robotics, however Membrain has a unique style and he is easily the best at organics.
And for the old elites, it's really hard to decide between all of them.

Hmm, wouldn't you place Alpha and Aveance in the old elite category? From what I recall, they haven't made any recent sets.
Also for the newer elite, I think ferrock2 can fit in that category.
