I've never had this issue before, it's only happened recently. I used to be able to run Toribash at a constant rate of 60FPS without shaders (my computer can't run shaders with a good FPS rate). Now however, for some reason, my FPS will drop whenever there is contact between the two Tori's. So my 60FPS cuts down to 21-45 FPS with contact.

This never used to happen before, my computer is perfectly capable of running 60 FPS constantly. It just isn't now. This is also a problem I have with all versions (I do mean all) of Toribash, but no other game.

I've updated my Visual C++, however I'm not all that sure I downloaded the right version if it were to fix my problem. I'm not entirely sure which one to download, but if that's the fix to the problem, I'd be very grateful if someone could point out the URL for the download.

My specs:
Intel Core i3-370M @ 2.4GHz
Intel HD 3000 Graphics
6 GB RAM
640GB HDD

I think he meant /opt fixedframerate 0

Might help as it un-limits your framerate (though mine just usually hovers around 60fps to 59.1fps at any given time like that.

Try cleaning out the air intakes, or vents, in your computer tower/frontal area.

Worked wonders for me.

Intel has managed to break their OpenGL (support library Toribash uses) support again.

So either downgrade your drivers or go buy new GPU (PLEASE, DO THIS AND SAVE BABY DARGONS!).

Also, yeah, devs know this and are trying to figure out how to fix it.

Unfortunately, Dargon, I'm using a laptop, so buying a new GPU isn't so much of an option. If I had an express card slot, it wouldn't be so much of an issue. .Money is also a bit short for a new laptop.

I'll try downgrading the drivers though.
