aren't there better places to talk about important topics than an indie video game forum?

Discussion used to be the realm of many fun people like mister616, odlov, junt and that other guy who's name starts with j but I forgot. Now it's home to some fun people still, but it's much less serious. It's still fun to post there though, and there's some good people like hyde, oracle, protonitron, bp or ele.

You should give it a try some time.

I used to sometimes post in discussion a bit, to get more clicks on my signature.

Now I don't post in discussion, I get infracted instead.

people have the internet to help them in discussions, that's probably why they prefer to discuss on a forum rather than in real life. not generalizing of course, some people on here are just intelligent. it's fun to read the threads though, people get heated, etc.
