A good start to an organization is to base it off of a solid idea. Pick something you feel would work well as an official org. Take the current official and well-known organizations for example (here are a few):

1) "Team Aikido" focusses mainly around some of the best aikido players in the game.

2) "Order of Taekkyon" focusses around the best TK players in the game.

3) "Ormo" focusses around replay making.

As long as you have a well-built idea, the determination to see the org through being official, and people that you know would be willing to join the org to support it, then the rest is up to you. Make a nice unofficial org page to start it out. If you go with something popular, yet something new it tends to catch people's attention fairly fast. Just remember to look at the "rules and guidelines" stickied thread before posting to make sure your organization is within the rules.
