does ankle weights stop you from growing or lessen you growing?

Well since your size is somewhat based on genetics, i dont see how the weight of something stops someone fromgetting taller. I wore heavy boots for the majority of this year and im still tall and growing

they only make your legs higher, but that's only if they're really REALLY long term
