How do i make moving avatars? Is there a certain file i have to save it as or what. I really wanna do it.

to make gif files take all the frames of the animation u want to make and open them as layers in gimp and save it as a gif file.

i mean if its a, lets say video made from like an editing program. how do i add that as my avatar.

Use a software to get frames out of the video. like movie maker.. frame by frame save the images and combine all images and form a gif and resize it.
