Unfortunately i can't afford them at the moment, how do i find out what they would look like?

Solution:
Make a folder in the Toribash-3.5/Custom directory named "Test". Save the trails into that folder with these names.
trail_l_leg.tga
trail_r_leg.tga
trail_l_arm.tga
trail_r_arm.tga
Go in game and type in /lp 0 Test.

Create your trails with Adobe Photoshop/Gimp or whatever, save them in the *.TGA extension and put them in your custom folder ("Toribash/custom/elfonto/) and name then "trail_l_arm", "trail_r_arm", "trail_r_leg" and "trail_l_leg". Enjoy !

OK just go save the trails as
trail_l_leg.tga
trail_r_leg.tga
trail_l_arm.tga
trail_r_arm.tga

but use gimp and save it as that but when a window comes up and says "...compresion" and untick that box so its not compressed then it should show up when you play toribash
