You may also buy emote colors in the torishop. http://forum.toribash.com/tori_shop.php?cid=43
These allow you to change the color of your words that will appear over your head.
You can also change the color of you emotes by typing /em with the following color code.
I.E.
/em ^31 ouch! my hand!
this would result with the color of a dragon item instead of the default tori/uke emote color.
The color codes are as follows. (information provided by NutHug)
Azurite is 62
Shaman is 65
