I would just like to ask, how do I check if a reply has been sent?

I've twice tried to reply to notifications but my "sent" folder remains empty and nothing shows up in the original PM so I have no idea if it's actually been sent or not

Go to user cp at the top, and click on options, from there scroll down and hit "Put the sent message in the sent box" It should be in there, just read threw it.

But I guess it's not possible to check if the previous 2 messages were sent?

Not if you already sent them, if you send them after you applied that option, you would see it. But messages don't get lost in space, they were most likely sent.
