Plasma Pong
Plasma Pong

Overview:

The game Plasma Pong is based on fluid dynamics. You must guide the ball through eddies and currents created by yourself and your opponent, but to achieve the same goal as in the classic Atari game: get it past their paddle.

You can switch between various shaders, including curl shading, convergence shading, pressure shading, and plasma (my fave).

This isn't all though, it comes with an awesome sandbox feature, in which you can place walls, emitters (which can emit a current, dye, or particles), and manipulate fluid by swirling it, pushing it around, and sinking it. You can also edit settings such as jelly and viscosity; if both are enabled, the fluid acts like jello, and nudging it around gives some cool looking effects.
Here are some screenshots from the editor.

So, give it a try.

The project isn't dead, but will be continued under a different name due to copyright complaints by Atari, just because he used the word "pong" in the name. Geez, it's a fucking household term nowadays.
