Go to single player
Press ctrl plus L
Then a menu will pop up, where you can create your own flame.
If you need help on the things, there should be a thread in tutorials.

You don't need an item.
You need enough tcs to make the flame though.

well what are those Flame and particle flame items?

The "Flame" item is the actual flame.
The "Flame particle" is the texture, like a head textures,but for flames.
