FOnline 2238 - Fallout MMORPG
What is FOnline 2238?
FOnline 2238 is a Fallout game based on the FOnline engine. Currently, it is only available in English.
The game is set in 2238, 3 years before Fallout 2. The world has been expanded and includes both the Fallout and Fallout 2 game areas.
What i need to play FOnline 2238?
- Fallout 2 files (Master.dat and Critter.dat) and Fallout 2 music folder.
- Internet-connection (128 kbs/s atleast)
- Latest FOnline installer (see below)
FOnline 2238 install guide v0.1
1. Download latest installer

2. Set locations for Master.dat and Critter.dat and music folder.
3. Ready! Now you need update game with launcher.exe -> update

I've been playing it for the past two months. To be honest the game is dying due to neglect, and the server suffers rollbacks up to three times a day.
The server saves your character and world files every 15 minutes. So every time it rolls back, it always goes to the last save. Its really annoying when you lose about 2k worth of experience and even more so when you just got done mining a whole bunch of materials to make weapons and armor.
On the bright side if you don't mind being set back a little bit every now and then, it can be a ton of fun. But gets boring quick if you have to do everything yourself.
You can even buy bases and whatnot and build tents out in the wilderness to where only you can see its location.
Good place to hide your stuff so when you die you don't lose it all.
My recommendation is that you guys all get together, and beat up a whole bunch of brahmin till you get hides. (10 of them). and go into an encounter and make a tent. All people present during the tent building will be able to see it on the world map.
