I'm there, btw assazin, to tell you the rule that I was using in the french grammar (recruitment thread), if you are using a verb that ends with "er" which is from the 1st group of verbs, "je" and "il/elle/on" make the verb end with "e", "tu" makes it end with "es", "nous" => "ons", "vous" => "ez", "ils/elles" => "ont".

Essayer is one of those verbs in the 1st group ;)
