Hi guys.
I just wanna tell that I got to hot around Kota Tua & some of the "cool" parts of Jakarta.
I have to say how great it was, the Dutch-built buildings around Kota Tua were awesome.
Also I saw some abandoned & ruined buildings bekas Kerusuhan 98 itu.
Kota Tua (& Glodok & sekitarnya) first,
these buildings were wonderful and also historic.
The Museum Bank Indonesia, Museum Bank Mandiri, the museum yang ada tulisan "Gouvernourskantoor" (idk how to spell fatahilah sorry), and some other unused buildings from the Dutch colonialisation.
These buildings were absolutely amazing and taken care of.
However, there are these some abandoned, super dirty, unused buildings yang bisa dimanfaatkan jadi museum/kantor/whatever.
I think they can be renovated & be used also for tourism.
More foreigners are coming each day.
Second, I went around the Monas & Istana Presiden.
Oh kashizzle, they look gorgeous.
Jalannya juga lumayan bersih, bagus, cuman ramai sangat.
Also, going around Jakarta Selatan, Sudirman, Menteng.
Those places are wonderful, clean, and well-developed.
I got to pass Jalan Surabaya (banyak jual barang2 antik & patung)
and I visited the Pasar Santa (biasa lah #naxgaul) and wow
these people are cool.
Using an old market building jadi tempat pergaulan gitu,
that's innovative!
Jadi kesimpulannya,
despite all those critics about Jakarta being all dirty, traffics, and bad.
Those are true,
but there are awesome sites that we can visit here too!
I wanna see these museums, man.
Yang gue pernah pergiin itu cuma Museum Gajah itu.
What do you think about our hated yet loved capital?
Cheers.
