run straight forward as fast as you can to see if you hit something. Better bend over so your head is facing forward and you hit head first, too...that way if it turns out the walls are made of salt you can taste it. (yummmmm salt)
MORE INTELLIGENT ALTERNATIVE:
You noticed when you fell that there were only walls on two sides of you. Seeing as you landed in the exact same position you fell in, you should be able to turn 90 degrees one way or the other and slowly, carefully walk forward to see if you get out. If you hit a wall, turn 180 degrees from new position and try going the other way.
NOT-SO-INTELLIGENT ALTERNATIVE:
feel around for a rock, and bite it. If it is made of cheese, you now know you are on the moon.
