From what I know, the expression "Break a leg" means you're asking someone to do the thing right away.

Example: Alright everyone, break a leg. We got a deadline to accomplish.

Break a leg generally means good luck (it's mostly used in theater)

Example: "alright we are on stage in 5 mins, break a leg everyone! (goodluck everyone)"
