Jayce is broken right now, he wins top lane everytime in competent hands. He's gonna get nerfed though, it's the Lee Sin situation again (difficult on release, once learned requires a heavy nerf).
I haven't played as Syndra yet, but she seems strong. Good early damage from the looks of it, and is a massive bully in lane. Decent late game as well, though not as good as her passive would make it seem like.
Skarner is a good, consistent ganking jungle, so if you know how to do that effectively, he's a stellar pick. Good early to mid game, falls off slightly at late game. Heavily item dependent.
Shyvana is a good top and a good jungle, no real cc but is a massive meatsack that packs a punch. Good presence in mid game, fairly strong late game.

Tho, decent Jayce loses against (bit) worse Yoric. Dem ghosts, man!
