Sounds like a lot of fun, but I can't help it... anyway.
Seems like a nice thing though.

Edit: And as I was going to say.... "Media-Handling Style: Evasive." Hehe...

How come we all had to pick positions that weren't taken if none of us would be on the same team?

guv_na: every player has a set position
which team he is in doesnt matter
if he's an attacker at Club A he stays an attacker when changing to Club B.

Right right, but I mean for instance, when we were all picking our characters' spots in the signup thread. "All of the midfielder positions are taken, choose something else." If none of us can be on the same team, then how come we all can't be midfielders? (Hypothetically)

Just wanted variety ^^

Besides, it's easier for people of different positions to end up at the same club, which could potentially generate more interesting scenarios. Speaking of players at the same club:

I just noticed that william405 and Kyat both play for Nancy Lorraine. That's an insane centre-back pair right there, Kyat is the ravaging powerhouse while william is the technical brains.

There is none, really.

Anyhoo:

Update!

November 2009

November 7th
- william405 got the man of the match award for Nancy when they drew 1-1 with Saint-Etienne. He showed a mature display as a defensive midfielder and largely did well. Etienne manager Perrin declared afterwards that william405 was "one of the big names in future French football".
- destiny and Gomesdead both got man of the match awards for their respective U19-sides. Both scored one goal each.

November 8th
- Zeromano has been cruelly sidelined for 5 months after getting a complicated leg break following a bad tackle executed by Tommaso Rocchi in Sampdorias match against Lazio.
- eddy1217 has been called up for the Australian first team, and might be getting his first cap.
- william405 has been called up for the Lebanese first team, and might be getting his first cap.
- Shin-Ryuu has been called up for the Polish first team, and might be getting his first cap.
- Red Apple has been having youth caps for Portugal and it looks like he'll become a Portuguese international in the future, rather than Japanese.

November 10th
- destiny gets a man of the match award for Sevilla after their win over Jaen in the Spanish Cup. He finished the match with two goals and largely reveled in the spotlight.

November 11th
- JesseBean was very unlucky not to get on the scoresheet as he was declared man of the match for Sunderland Reserves in their 1-1 draw with Blackburn Reserves. He made many fine runs and confused the opposition defense.

November 13th
- Shin-Ryuu has admitted to loving his new B-celebrity status as a national player for Poland, and will be looking to thrive under the media spotlight.
- calebgamb has been having youth caps for Italy. He's currently serving a one-match ban for getting two yellow cards in two matches.
- Guv_na earns a man of the match for Norway U21s as they beat Montenegro 5-0. He served his side well by running the Montenegro midfield into the ground, and ended the match with three assists and one goal.

November 14th
- Gomesdead earns the man of the match as he scores an amazing 4 goals for Real Zaragoza U19s against Terrassa U19s. Incidentially, this is a new record for goals scored in a match by a single person in Spanish U19s Group 6.
- william405 earned the man of the match award for Lebanon. He was particularly offensive in their 2-0 win over Vietnam and topped it all with one assist. He has told the media that he's now determined to stay the first choice at the back.

November 19th
- eddy1217 is said to be really proud of his first national cap for Australia, and has thanked his manager, Tim Verbeek, for the opportunity.
- When suggested that he wouldn't be able to squeeze out Mariusz Lewandowski from the national team, Shin-Ryuu reacted fiery and told the media that he had every intention of staying in the team.

November 29th
- Gomesdead scores a goal and earns a man of the match for Zaragoza in the Liga BBVA. For a fifth choice up front, he really did a number to the opposing side and has caught many eyes throughout Europe.
