man i was playing a new world of minecraft today... i found like 3 dungeons in an hour
and soooo much iron and coal but no diamonds...
didnt even built a home yet im living in my caves!

xD That's sweet I love when worlds start out great. Today I found 2 ravines But no abandoned mine shafts yet I need those damn melons!

Try digging below sand, they always tend to be there. Especially under deserts, you'll most likely always find mineshaft right below deserts.

Interesting, perhaps next time you find one in a desert like that post a pic :3 I never have thought of that cause I thought that it'd collapse on the ravine making it noticeable.

Well in the main world I'm playing in I found a mineshaft right below a desert, and if you try in creative, almost all deserts have mineshafts below them.

Just a quick question... Is anyone willing/able to host a minecraft server?

Seems like there's enough interest in it to start one up. Would probably be better if it was online 24/7 (whitelisted obviously) and all that, but if you'd be running it off your own comp, then hours of operation would be up to the host.
