@ MrGarry - I don't think that's too bad, you could spend a year working. Uni debts can be quite big depending on how much your parents are paying. Plus, if it's far away, can't stay with your parents, so food / rent ...etc

But I don't think it's possible to earn money to pay for your Uni after one year of work - plus what sort of work would it be? Not like some proper job - just part time, meaning not as highly paid.
