steam is a program used for gaming. you download it. you create an account. then you purchase games. once a game is bought then you can play online using steam servers. not just multiplayer online. co-op campaign online (left for dead for example)

Tomorrow I'll be going to northern Sweden (Back home, yay) to go skiing and meet some friends so I dunno how active I'll be. I'll be back again after about 5 days or something like that.
