The Story:
Lead a Spec-Ops unit of the USMC through the turmoil of the fictitious, post sovjet country of Chernarus in ARMA II. Your USMC unit "Team Razor" is one of the first in the battle, captured in a civil war, in which it's not just about to take over the conntrol of Chernarus, but also to win the heart of the population. With contending civil war fractions, the US-Marines in the south and Russia in the north, which is watching the situation suspicious, the challenge couldn't be harder. Chernarus' fate is on a knife edge.
Every of your decisions in the ramified, exciting campaign can change the evolution and can even change the ending of some missions. Your decision will change the future of Chernarus. You will codecide which fraction will take over Chernarus or if noone will win. Will you establish a stable peace, or trigger an even worse war?
The Gameworld:
Although ARMA II plays in a fictitious republic, so is the 225 square kilometers big landscape absolutely real. The extremely detailed landscape with more than 50 towns and villages and over 300 kilometres of road is an exact copy of real terrain, for which huge amounts of geographically datas were used. Chernarus is brought to life through a spectacular landscape which is populated of people and animals. Wild (the)animals roam through the huge forests, the people in the towns try to live a "normal" life amid the war.
The Equipment:
In ARMA II you have access to a breathtaking, original repertoire of military equipment:
- More than 40 modern Guns
- More than 120 diffrent vehicles for ground, air and water.
- breathtaking AI without any scripts
