Powas, im not sure about the other 2 authors that you mentioned, i might have read some of there stuff but im unsure, but i sure as hell have read the original Dune series. Nivens Ringworld is probly my all time favorite and im currently working my way through Phillip k dicks massive back log of awesome insanity.
