Oh man, I just realized. with a water mob, it's going to be a pain in the ass to make deep ocean houses, if its hostile. :l
it'll also be hard to even get in your underwater house assuming you didn't have some tunnel straight to it.

hope that thing cant get out of water ._.

1.make big pool
2.w8 water mob to spawn
3.purge the mob >>

It might even be a whale.

You must download the latest patcher. then backup your minecraft.jar and just make the patch target minecraft.jar on your \.minecraft\bin folder
