My steam account got once stolen bcoz i had a keylogger called bitfrost. It was surprisingly easy to remove it, but i had to sent an email to valve to recover my acc.
Ok, so i downloaded this game, and i left my computer to download it on its own whilst I made toast downstairs.

I finished making the toast and came back up stairs with it, I then ate it.
I went to my computer to find Norton-Antivirus saying i had 1056 viruses exactly.
I then shat bricks
and sat in the corner listening to the cold, thunderous and striking falling of snow and piss.

EDN.

I highlighted the true bits in bold for the ignorant

Falling snow and piss? That actually happened?

But that sounds more like Norton was possesed. What game were you downloading? I want to stay away from that one.

My computer is clean besides the occasional tracking cookie, but the worst one i have ever had was hacktool.rootkit. And unlike the normal versions of it, it was a temporary virus, it was created by a parent file, then it tried to access the internet, if it couldn't because nortons blocked it, it would delete itself, it was fucking my computer up bad.

But the problem was that the parent file was on my bios, so i had to remove my bios battery and reformat the hard drives... Virus gone.
A long time ago I had a self replicating virus : Formated.
Recently I had another virus, 100% CPU used, I nearly couldn't do anything.
After 2 minutes, I managed to close it from the task manager.
Then I used Kaspersky Virus scan to detect it, and Nod32 DLL remover to remove it. :o

I haven't had one particularly nasty virus, but rather a collaborative clusterfuck of at least 20 viruses in one case, and 380+ (All the same virus though) on another.

First one happened when i tried downloading a keygen for a game. When i opened it, my PC got buttfucked. It never fully recovered before i formatted it.

As for the second one, i don't actually know how it got on my PC, but what i do know is that it infected nearly every EXE file on my PC. This didn't have any notable effects, oddly, except for AVG constantly bawwing about the viruses, which was rather disruptive in and of itself. When i got around to AVG'ing the viruses, all the infected EXE files got broken, leaving me with a shitton of useless games on my PC. Had to format it once again.

various places to find me lol
I wouldn't really call this a virus, but rather a nuke for the computer. I was on my mom's laptop, because I needed Windows XP for something. That was actually Jailbreaking my iPod Touch. So anyway partially through the installation, when it says to put your iPod in DFU mode, I tried it, and I actually thought I put it in DFU. I didn't. Now the jailbroken firmware was installing. Because I didn't have my iPod in DFU, the firmware instead went to my mom's computer and fried the C: Drive. The computer got a BSOD. We tried turning it on, and it didn't.

I must warn people about a download virus. I was trying to play some game one day and it was prompting me to download this application. I thought: Well whatever, I can do that. So I went ahead and downloaded the thing and the game along with it. Not to many minutes afterward I got a threat alert about what I just downloaded. It was telling me that I had a trojan on my computer. This trojan was called: ZangoToolbar or something along those lines. I tried to remove it but it had an error removing it. Not to long ago I ended up removing the thing with ComboFix.

And another sad thing is, The game didn't even work.

Read about it here.

Yeah, they had Zango ads all over NG. I think it was supposed to be a porn site program thingie, judging by NG.
