When I try your technique I get a very small flame, how do I expand it?

The gray triangle is how big the triangles are when you first add them, I normally make them waaaay smaller then that, so I bet thats whats wrong.

Hmm that is strange, it might look a little better on a black background

EDIT: Tried that, didn't help.

Well, you could always increase the scale of the triangles to add a bit on, I just completely forget what I did to mine to get the thicker lines
