If you'd let a metal kid hear a 90s metal song (I assume you would call that "real metal"), he would probably still call it metal. So you have all metal?

I really dislike pop punk and post-hardcore. Post-hardcore is stupid. It's not even that heavy, and the singers sound like they belong in a pop group when they're not growling/screaming.

alternative metal... hahaha, there you go. Korn, Slipknot, bring me the horizon, some pornogrind stuff, a lot of things the newer generation who came just after me has gotten into especially in my city. I think it has to do with being angsty and the rebel turd image with douchy dyed hair and lip peircings and how easy it is too find their most favorite band. I know quite a few 30 and 40 year old metal heads who seen other metal heads turn out to be total posers. I think this is the same case.

These are the kids that you will see in 15-20 years and they'll most likely be nothing like they are now. It's a just a phase they may say that most teens go through... No it's not. It's a fucking art.

Also Alternative bands like The White Stripes, The Killers, Linkin Park, I guess Limp Bizkit fits in this too.

I dont like Nirvana, the beatles or Led Zepplin.
Every one of them makes me want to listen to something else as soon as i hear them, i couldnt tell you exactly what it is that i dont like about them other than i just dont like them.

why is it ironic? i'm not disrespecting or insulting their opinion in any way, i stated that i can't understand how they like that kind of music, which is completely normal seeing as everyone has different tastes.
