working on underwater caustics, so it will look like its taking place underwater.

I was considering just straight out going for a blobfish for the memes. But I restrained myself.

just wondering, is there sss on the child ? looks like it's whole body is subsurface scattered.

Its just the default material, so yeah the sss is all consuming :P I haven't really done more on that project yet, I couldn't get the water depth and caustics to look right in Maya, so I'm learning blender. Dynamic topology in blender sculpting is so nice.

Also did some oilpainting. Waiting for it to dry before applying more layers, such a relaxing hobby.

Haha I'm a maya kid.. I tried to just create a primitive in blender and I couldn't find anything... so I stopped and went back to my happy place, Maya
At one point I gotta learn blender tho... 200$ a month is quite excessive to use maya commercially :S
