Okay with my awesome google searching skills I have come to the conclusion that I don't think seashore can actually save animations. Just use GIMP. Trust me it is the best free graphics program available.

avatar is not bad, but not very good too. What matters more - do you like it?

also, the easiest way is to request avatar in Requests market subforum. There are many people making awesome artworks. It will cost you some money tho :P
