Link is right, you can't betray something and leave it.

And be back the next day with an awesome position in it.

Eg. If an army leader left the army because he wanted to, then came back, he wouldn't stay the leader. Right?

Course I did not betray, When I left I said " If my clan does not work out I will come back to Extreme."
Meaning I had to see if I could handle my own clan.

Also, In the army even if you leave if you come back your rank is reinstated, So your example is invalid.
