Play as many duels as you can, if someone played 20 duels and you played only 9 you won't be counted in the end even if you have the most points.

example:

Vodka vs missuse
Vodka's mod wushu3
missuse's mod sambo

wushu3 result 3-1 for Vodka
sambo result 3-0 for Vodka

Vodka: 2 points
missuse: 0 points

After you did a duel with someone you can not repeat it for the event, you have to fight other people.
