You should try modeling your headphone heads after real life headphones. Of course, some are very similar, or too small, but others would be great, like the HD800's or some grados. Those would beat generic circles any day.

the scanline is too bold :l. make it thinner.

Or just take it out. At the very least, lessen it around your focus. For example, azir's avy. you see them around the borders, but not in the center, and that gives it a look that's less Scanline and more like Textured.
