BO and MW2 are the best games ever made?

Cept most people who play those games don't know a thing about videogames and will play what they see on tv. Think about games in a gamer perspective, Fallout, Dragon Age, Minecraft, Team Fortress 2, those games get popular in the gamer world, whereas other people who are not that much into games never heard of them.

Right, which is why magazines and such should focus a tad less on the mainstream steaming piles of overrated rotten feces, and just a little bit more on the underappreciated games most people never hear of but in reality is just what they've been looking to play for a long, long time.

Still, I suppose some of the games on the list aren't too far off their place.

Fallout is mainstream now, unless you are talking about 1/2.

IMO "true gamer games" are those games with immense/extremely impressive game structure/storyline/replayability and don't focus on making the game look as impressive as possible and have heaps of advertising etc.

Content > Graphics & Hype

But of course Content + Graphics is even better, if not rare.

From dust looks cool, like a cross between minecraft and spore.

These were both really popular, I'm sure it'll do really well.

I've been waiting for Brink for a while ever since APB and Global Agenda let me down. Fingers crossed for no hat trick.

Still, that Red Orchestra 2 looks like it could fill that gap if Brink fails.
