The problem with Pure is that it seems to 'washout' whatever colour you have with it (assuming you're talking gradients). Most red colours seem to go mix really badly. Blue doesn't look to bad. Pharos, Maya and Sapphire look really weak and are almost white. Void and Demon don't look too bad but they do go grey when they blend. Toxic and acid look bad. The only colours that do work are pink/purple colours like Dragon, Amethyst, Elf etc, blue colours and Gaia also works. I'm not really a fan of pure gradients as they usually make whatever they're paired with seem worse. Anyway that's my opinion.
