i loved Tales of Symphonia! then played Tales of Phantasia and loved that a heck of a lot too. later bought Tales of Vesperia but tought the characters wheren't close at all.
of course the first RPG i ever played was Pokemon Red.
nowadays i play a lot of oldskool RPG's and just bought Final Fantasy 13.

pokemon (blue I think) on GameBoy color was my first rpg, it was freakin' awesome. But I think if I can not find anything good I will just play BG 2 and planescapem Iam sure thay area bit more mature than Pockemon

uh, anime RPGs or whatever they are called never peaked my interested (only Pokemon)
I am finishing Two worlds 2 soon, if anyone is playing it, pls share u;;re thoughts, Ihave mixed feelings about this game, it could have been the bomb if the right people made it, if the TW3 is better than TW2 as it is better than the first pat, watch out, it just might be bad ass rpg
and got Risen, seems promising, but only after a glimpse, my opinion might change several time before I decide, character animation is a bit off, which is surprising since the environment is very pleasing. Any rpg where u need a frying pan to cook raw food seems promising

They are single player games mostly. I think that only the FF XI was multiplayer game.
