how do you guys feel about a "know at least 1 person from the clan" rule for future applicants?

Applicants to [M] will always try to impress us and we really have no idea about their personality until we get to be with them as co-members. So maybe this will be a good idea.

or

Ask applicants that we don't really know to just hang with us for 1-2 weeks ingame and in the forum before we decide.

What do u guys think? Is this a good idea or should we keep things as they are?

well yeah, except that trials members are already in the clan, wearing the [M] tag.

Well, Goughy applied and no one used to know him. Now, we have an great member with us. For me, this idea isn't really necessary, but, we obviously will consider.

I don't support that idea. By that we will have less applicants and also less new members.
