I think terraria is a boring ass game. after you get into one place in the game there is nothing to do.
minecraft is okay. But I hate the game
Garrys mod. now your talking I have been playing this game forever. for like 6-7 years.
there is no telling what you can do you can build stuff with real scientific properties and edit the properties do whatever. And there are mods that even further expand the experience
and its 10$
Done.
But you do need a source game (Counter strike : Source, Any half life 2 game , Team fortress 2 works etc)
