the AUG literally does 99 damage point blank. I remember one time I somehow got 1 tapped by an aug, 101 in 1 and i just reported because that's stupid.

theres a reason why no one uses it and its not because its a good gun fist

No one uses it because of "FUCK CALL OF DUTY" and "SCOPZ FOR NOOBS COD PLAYER LOL". That is the real reason. The stats show that the guns are better and for a small extra bit of $$ its worth it! Aug is 1 shot kill at close range.

Maybe not at pro level where money is that tight but at any matchmaking level $300 isn't much.

AUG ($3300):
28 raw damage (to the chest, at point blank)
90% armor penetration
25 damage against armored opponents (to the chest, at point blank)
2% damage falloff per 500 units travelled by the bullet
one hit headshot against armored opponents at close range
equal rate of fire as the M4 and Famas
standing and crouching accuracy are the highest among the rifle category
lowest bullet spread among the rifles, this is a shared value with the SG553
220 movespeed

M4A4 ($3100): - 33 raw damage (to the chest, at point blank)
70% armor penetration
23 damage against armored opponents (to the chest, at point blank)
3% damage falloff per 500 units travelled by bullet
deals 91 headshot damage against armored opponents at a range where the AUG in an instant headshot
one hit headshot again unarmored opponents at any distance
equal rate of fire as the AUG and Famas
has worse accuracy values than the AUG, but better accuracy than the Famas

spread increases with gun value
famas does near 80 dmg to hs, with more rng on single bullets but has a smaller spread
if i had $4000 to spend, and wanted some nades+armour i would buy the famas over the aug
at $5000 buying the m4a4 would leave you with enough for armour and some nades
the m4a1s and aug cut you short another $200, limiting your cash enough to be a bother
the spray of the aug is the real problem seeing as most of your shots will need to hit
your "crouch and standing" accuracy is fantastic, it truly is, but after the first shot i'd rather be able to make up for it than fuck myself over for that nifty scope that some call "useful"
after all that there's compensation for the spread
the aug's is by far one of the hardest to compensate for, while the m4a4 and more so m4a1s are easy to work with
trust me, fistoflife, your argument has been made 1000 times over and has never made any ground on aug > other weapons

oh and the famas' 3-round has the highest accuracy with the first bullet than any other gun in the game, and the second bullet is fairly accurate
also the aug is a 1-shot headshot only within 200 units
that's almost knife range
not to mention it has the slowest reload speed
