Soldat is seriously a great game. Free, and you can adjust the graphics and everything that can cause the lag. By itself it's still a low-graphics game. I have the same problem Tyler, if not worse.

When I exit soldat, my pc suddenly restarts by itself and it only occurs with soldat.
