If they add a "Throw Kate" option you could use her as bait to keep the horde off you when you go raid houses.

Haha thats something you can do, if you walk up to her when the house is on fire, you pick her up, then walk down, click on her and you put her down, unbarricade the door and back off, the zombies will feast on her.

Got every ending, played after tutorial for a while, killed every zombie in town, and the game crashed :<

First of all, they respawn, its an endless horde...
Also, no endings, you cant win, you are supposed to die.
"this is how you died" on the intro if you see..

Games aren't about the graphics, they are about the gameplay and the fun they bring you.

I managed to keep Kate alive for a full 6 or 7 days before a massive zombie horde spawned around my house without me knowing and I opened the door right into them.

But ya, after the initial shock factor of smothering her (like, why can't I just give her the pillow to get comfortable?) it saves a lot of time, albeit you still can't do anything for the day until you go to bed, cause it's nearly nightime :/ If anything, if you really want Kate to be alive, only keep her alive to serve as a distraction for the raider that comes into your house. Then bust his brains out and take his bat and shotgun.

I managed to kill Kate 3 times. She never survived more than a day or two.
