tinnitus is actually more common than you think, but there is of course a scale between "awful" and "meh". then, i don't know, there's a standard "static" when it's completely silent? i'm not sure if that's the case, someone with knowledge would have to fill me in.

When it is silent most all people hear a high pitched ringing sound.

yeah, i get this, where i just occassionaly hear a really high pitched noise and im like tf to my mats and theyre just like its nothing. but ive never considered it to be tinnitus. never thought about it.
