The problem is , I already finished first gym , cant pass the water gym because charmeleon will be killed so fast.
The grass pokemon have low level :<

I started playing Fire Red and I just beat the 2nd gym orso
I haven't found any pokemon I want in my party yet.
But I have a Farfetch'd so I've got that going for me, which is nice.

in fr/lg i clinged to charizard, vileplume/belsprout, hypno and gyarados some ghost maybe or dragonite, hitmonchan/hitmonlee was one of my more often choices aswell

swap magikarp in first turn
kill pokemans with a pokeman
magikarp gets half the exp
