Why is there such a need for Gm's?

Do we really need 19?

It just seems that after the person gets gm he goes afk.

It's been almost a month and I still have not been able to participate in a Game Master Tourney.

Kind of depressing.

GMTs play a major part in why you don't see any tournaments, most gamemasters host a ton.
