Yeah, I only don't like erthtkv2 because of the mod's name. Make it "tkv2," and the mod will instantly become more popular. This is a valid reason as the name of the mod is still an important feature that no one seems to have yet discussed.

When trying to create a new account,

"That username is already in use
or does not meet the administrator's
standards"

I've already made sure the username is not in use,
please explain to me what meets the administrator's standards.

When a Trial GM or some staff level get in that staff position, are they sent a list of rules of them to follow?

Or is there a thread that's old about it?

Trials GMs have access to a secret board with that type of information on it. The same works for other types of staff when hired on.

I'd assume the general ones which I won't name. If you've heard it often, it's probably blacklisted. Some of the more cultural slurs and insults that many people might not know of would get past though.
