He's good outside of pubstomp, if you're good with your grab. It's basically an instant 1 down if you land it before a team fight. Plus he plays a mean offtank, and can protect and fuck up carries easily. Literally only need a manamune as your only damage item to still be useful.
And how can you not find him fun? Grab through wall, smug as fuck in chat.

Hes just not my playstyle.
I tend to play champions like, Irelia, Kennen, Akali, Soraka, Taric and of course, Caitlyn ^_^
I just don't like him. I can land the grabs, just don't like him ^^

Blitzcrank is a tanky dps, manamune is a waste.
Randuins, bveil, Trinity Force, infinity edge, merc treads, frozen heart, etc.
Yes infinity edge is great on blitzcrank (Doublelift said so, not me)

Also stacking mana on blitz es #1 en brasil because it's rage inducing to burst casters who burst you down to like 50 health and suddenly a 2k mana shield out of no where
