okay my server finally works but when i'm not home i'll have to use hamachi logmein
download for hamachi logmein: https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/
install it.
open hamachi and click on Network > Join an existing network
in the Network ID box, put 'Ferous'
the password is 123
then open minecraft and connect to this IP: 5.54.46.128
then wait to be whitelisted

I have my home dug into a mountain with piston doors so you can't see the entrance and after walking down a giant amount of stairs I dug out a giant area of 150x150 blocks and built a castle in it xD
