I prefer mine, I think you sharpened that a little too much (I can see the pixelation). As for the border, like I said it doesn't appeal to me anymore especially if its a black border. Normally if I want to use a border I would use a colour that goes with the background in the picture (In my case it would be a slightly light blue) and not more than 2px thick. But as I said its only the "background picture" that bothers me.
