Sure.
First download the fonts you want. The go to My Computer > Local Disk > WINDOWS > Fonts folder > Then paste the fonts in the folder, then open Gimp and there you go.
And if you want to add fonts to gimp, but you don't want to close the program so it can refresh the fonts, do this:
First add the fonts you want to add. (as said above) and make sure you're in Gimp, and you have the box where you put your image at. Then go to the Windows tab (Not the windows folder), then HOVER OVER Dockable Dialogs, then go down to where it says Fonts and click it. And there should be a refresh sign at the bottom of the window that pops out. Click it. And there. It's been refreshed. ;)
